Mission Sustainability

On 15 June hundreds of activities will take place across European regions and cities. Everybody is invited to participate in the European Wind Day 2008, to discover the unlimited power of wind energy. The European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) is once again coordinating the pan-European campaign for the promotion of wind energy with the aim to reach local communities across the continent and to explain all the benefits wind energy brings about, how wind turbines work and to debunk and disprove the main misconceptions about wind energy.
This year a new strap line, ‘discover unlimited power’, has been endorsed in order to sharpen the focus of the campaign, and a new website (www.windday.eu) is now online.
