Mission Sustainability

I have applied to undertake a PhD to research the legal implementation of climate change policy. If I am successful in this application I intend not only to preach about actions to help protect against the man-made contributors to climate change I also intend to aim to produce a carbon neutral PhD. My plan would be to initially reduce my carbon footprint and then to purchase carbon credits for the remaining footprint. The result of this project would be to illustrate what actions can be taken at a national level but also at an individual level. Once the project is completed over three years, I hope to publish my findings and continue my environmentally friendly lifestyle. Hopefully my application will be successfull!
