I save up to 5 liter fresh water eyeryday while I wash potatoes, all vegetables and fruits, cool boiled eggs, clean almost clean cubs of tea. I collect the running water whish comes out of the tap in a bucket which fits into my sink. I use it to water my flowers on the balcony and in the house.
Moreover, I stop the tap while washing my hands, teeth, hairs. I buy washing and dish washer of category A (less energy and water consumption). And I installed on every tap a “Durchflussbegrenzer) i.e. a think you put on the tap, so that less water runs out.
Note: Eyery German consumes approx. 130 Liter water a day. Apart from the costs (1000 Liter in Deutschland approx. 1,72 Euro), sewage approx. 2,32 Euro) in third world countries, too many children die from polluted water. Join my idea!
