Mission Sustainability

I grew up in one of those mega and ever expanding cities, the capital of China, Beijing. In order to supply the 20 million inhabitants, the government has decided to divert the Yangtze river from the South to the Capital city. Environmental injustice, inequality, ecological impacts are the key words jumped into my mind. We are small members of the big city, but what my family and I are doing is to recycle water in our apartment. Reuse the water from washing vegetable, hands, cloths and showering to clean the floor and to use it again to flush the toilet. It causes inconvenience, but it saves money and helps releasing the stresses on the planet.
