‘Tijd voor eten’ (‘Time for eating’) was initiated by Doris Voss who had the idea to cook together with children who spend their lunch breaks at school. The children take part in the preparing of the food made of regional and mostly organically grown products. Than the tables are set (sort of restaurant at school) and the children are stimulated to take the time and enjoy their meals. www.tijdvooreten.nl
Main aims are: making children and parents aware of the importance of health and tasty food. Supporting parents in preparing healthy and tasty meals for their children. Stimulating the idea of eating as a social experience. Working achieving a more diverse taste-pallet with children. And of course just enjoying a wholesome meal together at school!

wir können nicht früh
wir können nicht früh genug anfangen, unseren Kindern den Wert unserer Umwelt und damit auch unseres Essens zu vermitteln. Genuss ist eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für Wertschätzung. Vielleicht werden diese Kinder später für gerechte Tierhaltung und für gesunde Lebensmittel kämpfen! Schönes Projekt.
